Weekends for a software professional is always much awaited one. That too the first weekend of the month. It gives you the extra freedom to shop, recharge, rejuvenate.
Started my day by reading the Sunday Times. Top story this weekend was a special one with India winning the N-deal waiver in Vienna and ending the 34 years of isolation imposed after conducting the nuclear test in Phokhran in 1974.

“The cartel normally has one annual plenary meeting and decisions are made by consensus only. Members can also hold consultative sessions. The NSG has no permanent office and details of its deliberations are kept confidential. The 2008-09 NSG chairman is Germany.” – Indian Express
India is the only country who has not signed the nuclear non-profileration treaty and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) is a landmark step in the implementation of the Indo-US nuclear deal that will now go to the US Congress for approval.
Spent time playing Yahoo Chess, my favorite passtime since last couple of years. Its really cool place to explore your chess skills. Its gives you the option to chat with your oponent. I have played against players from numerous countries. Timed games are the ones I prefer the most, it gives you the extra edge over even the smartest of players.
Rest day was spent in downloading a new browser: GOOGLE CHROME beta. I am using it right now to write this blog. Its amazingly fast in streaming videos and images.
I had been surfing most the time today, I am looking for a new mobile handset trying to figure out which should be better: Smartphone, PDA or Mobile.
1. Nokia E90 communicator (Rs. 34689)
2. HTC TYTN II smartphone (Rs. 29189)
3. Nokia N 93i (Rs. 24989)
4. Fly Hummer HT1 (Rs. 9949)
Will soon decide on which one to buy? Which meets my pocket and fit in my pocket 🙂
